Registration

NETC08 runs from April 27th through May 1st. It will be headquartered at the Raleigh-Durham/Research Triangle Embassy Suites Hotel in Cary. Conference registration includes all sessions and tours. Registration includes lunches on Monday through Wednesday and dinners on Monday and Tuesday nights. Complimentary cooked to order breakfasts and evening receptions are included with hotel lodging.

Monday evening we welcome our attendees with a "Taste of Carolina" buffet featuring southern fried chicken, pulled pork barbeque, slow roasted pig with eastern Carolina barbeque sauce, roasted corn, fried sweet potatoes, corn bread, hushpuppies, an array of southern desserts and some sweet tea. Tuesday, we will spend a memorable evening enjoying IT Night at the NC Museum of Natural Sciences. We will dine our way through the museum as we travel from Coastal Carolina to the Mountains and on to prehistoric North Carolina. The meal will be served throughout the museum and will consist of delicious appetizers, prime rib and turkey carving stations, mashed potato bar, crab cakes, soup shots, and a variety of desserts.

Guest Registration

Registered conference attendees are welcome to bring guests to the conference. Guests will not be charged a registration fee, however, guests must register for any meals that they want to attend. Guests will not participate in general conference sessions or excursions.

Monday Evening Taste of Carolina Buffet (7:30 - 9:30 PM) - $40

Informal welcome buffet and entertainment at the Embassy Suites.

Tuesday Keynote Luncheon (Noon - 1:30 PM) - $25

Entree: Lasagna

Tuesday Evening IT Night at the NC Museum of Natural Sciences (6:30 - 9:30 PM) - $50

Assortment of foods served throughout the museum as you explore the natural sciences exhibits.

Wednesday Keynote Luncheon (11:45 - 1:15 PM) - $25

Entree: Grilled Chicken Breast. Keynote by Thomas Vander Wal.

404 Banquet

This optional banquet provides support and other technology folks the opportunity to let their hair down and relax. The 404 banquet will be held at Torero's Mexican Restaurant. This informal restaurant is within walking distance of the hotel.

Please signup if you are planning to attend. Cost should be approximately $15 per person and this will be a pay as you go event.

Cancellation/Refund Policy

Cancellations must be made in writing. If notice is received by March 15 2008, the refund will be equal to the payment made less $50. If notice is received between March 15 2008 and April 1 2008, the refund will equal 50% of the payment received. No refund will be issued if cancellation notice is received after April 1 2008. Refund checks will be issued 4-6 weeks following the conference.
